Uga’s calm bottle

Shake it, then watch everything settle.

When everything is spinning inside, watching glitter fall slowly gives the body something to do while the storm passes. It is not magic. It is just time, made visible.

Step by step

  1. Fill it two thirds

    Warm water, up to about here.

  2. Add the glue

    Four big spoonfuls. The more glue, the slower it falls.

  3. Add the glitter

    A good pinch. Blue is the calm one.

  4. Seal it well

    A grown-up tapes the lid shut. Then shake.

When the glitter has all settled, the hard moment has usually passed too.
