Together
“Uga’s forest” mobile
A little forest that turns above the bed.
Hanging things at different heights takes trial and error. Balancing it is the real craft, and it teaches more than the cutting does.
Step by step
-
Find a good stick
Straight, light, longer than your forearm.
-
Cut the shapes
Trees, leaves, a small Lulu, a cloud.
-
Hang them at different heights
Some near the stick, some far below.
-
Balance it
Slide the threads along until the stick hangs level.
Uga’s tip
When it turns on its own, it means a window is open somewhere.
