A story about waiting

Uga and The Swing

Patience

A warm story about impatience, making a mistake and finding a kinder way to play together.

The story

Uga wants his turn immediately. Moving from one game to another does not make waiting easier, and acting too quickly upsets a little friend. Uga notices the effect of his actions and discovers how helping and taking turns can change the game.

Learning to wait

Patience is not passive: it asks a young child to manage a very strong impulse. The episode makes that effort visible and shows that a mistake can become an opportunity to notice, repair and try again.
