A story about frustration

Uga and The Tower

Frustration

A visual story about a very big feeling, a calming breath and the courage to begin again.

The story

Uga carefully builds an enormous stone tower. When it crashes, his frustration erupts just like Burbu the volcano. Lulu does not rebuild it for him. He stays nearby and helps Uga slow down, breathe and look at the challenge with fresh eyes.

Frustration can feel enormous

When effort does not produce the result a child expected, the body can react before words arrive. Pausing and breathing do not erase the problem, but they create enough space to choose what comes next.

Feel · Learn · Grow

Talk about it together

There are no right answers. Let your child notice, point or answer in their own way.

  1. What happened to Uga's tower?
  2. Where could you see his frustration?
  3. What could we do before trying again?

What children can explore

  • Frustration is a normal feeling when something does not work.
  • A pause and a slow breath can help the body settle.
  • Trying again can look different from the first attempt.
